The pluriSelect 10x RBC (Red Blood Cell) Lysis Buffer is an ammonium chloride-based stock solution to be diluted, which ensures optimal lysis of red blood cells. Leukocytes are only minimally affected by the buffer, making it very suitable as an aid for cell separation and cell analysis using flow cytometry. It should be noted that nucleated red blood cells (erythroblasts) are not lysed by this buffer due to their structural similarities to leukocytes.
