Streck - Cell-Free DNA BCT (Blood Collection Tubes) tubes are used for direct venous blood collection and stabilization of cell-free DNA (cf-DNA). Venous whole blood samples can be collected, stabilized and transported directly in the tubes. The isolated cf-DNA or CTCs can be used in numerous applications, such as next-generation sequencing (NGS) or other molecular biology analyses. It is of interest in research areas such as drug development, cancer research and diagnostics, as it provides precise and reliable samples for modern DNA-based tests.

Features of Streck’s cfDNA sample stabilization
The advantage of Streck Cell-Free DNA BCT is to stabilize cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and circulating tumor cells (CTCs) over a longer period of time. The tube contains a special preservative that:
