PluriSelect 10x RBC (Red Blood Cell) Lysis Buffer er en ammoniumchloridbaseret stamopløsning, der skal fortyndes, hvilket sikrer optimal lysis af røde blodlegemer. Leukocytter påvirkes kun minimalt af bufferen, hvilket gør den meget velegnet som hjælpemiddel til celleseparation og celleanalyse ved hjælp af flowcytometri. Det skal bemærkes, at røde blodlegemer med kerne (erythroblaster) ikke lyseres af denne buffer på grund af deres strukturelle lighed med leukocytter.
