Negative Cell Separation
Negative cell selection is a depletion of all unwanted cells too. In contrast to the positive enrichment, all cells, except the cells of interest, will bound to specific antibodies and separated. While the unwanted cells will be depleted the desired cells remain unbound and “untouched” to antibodies or beads in the sample material.
pluriSelect has developed the pluriSpin system which isolates viable untouched and highly purified cells in one step without magnets or column. That minimizes the risk of activating or damaging the cells of interest.
Cells are not exposed to the stress of being passed through a column. The wanted cells carry no antibodies and are bead free. This avoids unwanted activation or blocking of the interested cell population.
